OUR VISION
A connected agricultural future
To build a sustainable and connected agricultural network that empowers Nepali farmers, strengthens local food systems, and contributes to healthier communities.
THE RAITHANE STORY
Raithane began with a simple idea: the people who grow our food and the people who depend on it deserve a stronger connection.

OUR PURPOSE
Raithane Agro & Pasal Pvt. Ltd. is building a stronger connection between Nepal's farming communities and the people who depend on the food they grow.
We work to bring together farmers, local collection, quality management, storage, distribution, and market demand—creating a more connected agricultural system that helps local food reach the communities where it is needed.
Our work is rooted in a simple belief: when farmers have better market opportunities, communities become stronger, local economies grow, and families can have greater access to quality, locally grown food.
From village farms to growing communities, we are working toward a future where Nepal's agricultural potential creates value for everyone.
OUR VISION
To build a sustainable and connected agricultural network that empowers Nepali farmers, strengthens local food systems, and contributes to healthier communities.
OUR MISSION
To connect farmers with dependable market opportunities through responsible collection, quality management, storage, and distribution—while promoting sustainable agriculture and supporting the growth of Nepal's farming economy.
WHERE WE BEGAN
Across Nepal, farmers work with skill, patience, and generations of agricultural knowledge. Yet many face challenges reaching dependable markets, managing post-harvest losses, and receiving the value their hard work deserves.
At the same time, families and communities are looking for fresh, trustworthy, and locally sourced food.
Raithane was created to help connect these two sides.
We are building a network that brings together collection, storage, quality management, distribution, and market demand—creating a more connected path from where food is grown to where it is needed.
Knowledge passed through generationsROOTED IN NEPAL
Connecting the people behind every meal.
“When farmers have a dependable path to market, everyone along the food journey grows stronger.”
Our role is to build a practical bridge between Nepal's farming communities and the markets that depend on them.
Through local collection, responsible handling, storage, distribution, and demand-based supply, we aim to create a food network that works better for farmers and communities.
We do not want to replace local relationships. We want to strengthen them, connect them, and create more opportunities through them.
WHAT GUIDES US
We respect the knowledge, work, and long-term wellbeing of Nepal's farming communities.
We believe quality begins at the farm and continues through every stage of collection, storage, and distribution.
We seek progress that respects farmers, communities, food, natural resources, and future generations.
We believe lasting success should create value and opportunity throughout the agricultural network.
OUR JOURNEY
We saw how fragmented market access can affect farmers and how communities can struggle to find reliable local food sources.
We began building relationships with farmers and communities to understand their real needs and local realities.
We are bringing collection, storage, quality management, logistics, and market demand together into a more connected system.
Our ambition is to build a responsible agricultural network that connects farmers and markets across all 77 districts of Nepal.
WHY RAITHANE
Every harvest carries more than nutrition.
By strengthening the systems around Nepal-grown food, we can help create better opportunities for farmers, support local communities, and keep more value closer to where food begins.
